Please Gift Aid

When you Gift Aid your donation, VEGA will be able to reclaim tax on any donations you make (currently 28p for every £1.00 given), thus increasing the funds available to VEGA.

Notes on Gift Aid Declaration

1. You must pay an amount of income tax and/ or capital gains tax at least equal to that VEGA reclaims on your membership subscriptions/donations in the tax year.

2. If in the future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that VEGA reclaims, please inform us so that we can cancel your declaration.

3. If you pay tax at a higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.

4. Your declaration covers all membership subscriptions/ donations you may make in the future:

• please notify VEGA if you change your name or address while this is still in force.
• you can cancel the declaration at any time by notifying VEGA-it will then not apply to membership subscriptions/donations you make on or after the date of cancellation or such later date as you specify

5. If you are unsure whether your membership subscription donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, ask VEGA. Alternatively, you can ask your local tax office for leaflet IR113 Gift Aid.
